Information on Foundations We Work With

While music is the main focus of the WKoG channel, one of the other things we try and do is help foundations and non-profits where possible. We have three different groups that we are either affiliated with or that we try and mention as often as possible. On this page you will find out more information about them.
Non-Profits
So far there has been one specific non-profit that we have been working with but will be on the lookout for a few more.
We look for ones that help everyone, and ones we can send all donations directly. But, most importantly we look for ones that have the ability to give everything donated to whatever the cause may be. During the charity streams, WKoG will add the links to their donation page into a timed message that goes on throughout the stream as well as either D or a Moderator typing it into chat throughout the stream.
Foundations
So far there are only two groups/foundations that we work with on a regular basis, and just like the non-profit we are always keeping an eye out for others.
The foundations we work with are ones that help Vets and the other helps other streamers reach out to other non-profits because here at WKoG we are all about helping one another and giving back to the community.
Fire For Effect Foundation
Fire for Effect Foundation's motto is "By Vets for Vets." It originated from just a regular Twitch stream, into a foundation that now helps veterans nationwide. They strive to help Veterans by using their previous experiences and knowledge over things, and if they cannot help you, they will do everything in their power to help you find the help that you need.
Their mission is to ensure that Veterans know they have someone in their corner who will always do their best to help them with whatever life throws their way or when they get turned away from other resources.
This foundation has a President, Vice President, Director of Operations, Assistant Director of Operations/Secretary of the Board of Directors, Treasurer of the Board, and WGY6 Crisis Squad (sibling foundation) and on their website, you can learn about each of those members.

Tiny Town CA

Tiny Town CA is a non-profit that we at WKoG work with regularly. Meaning, it is a charity that we frequently do charity streams to try and help them receive donations directly.
Tiny Town CA is a transitional resort for women and children who are unhoused. Their mission is to help aid them with the solutions to achieve housing stability and long-term self-sufficiency. They work towards achieving this by having two different phases of preparation provided. The first phase has multiple steps that will help them prepare for phase two. Keep in mind that they do this so that the women can do whatever is needed to maintain a life for themselves and their child(ren).
As they say, "This isn't just transitional housing, this is transformational housing.

My Way Gaming
Our host D is a founding member of My Way Gaming. My Way Gaming is powered by EACL (E-Sports Amateur Competitors League) and UFL (United Fundraising Lague). It can bring in an exclusive group of 100 streamers who focus on giving back to non-profits, charities, and social causes.
Not only does My Way Gaming find streamers with the same goals of giving back to the community, but they have also made it so that when the streamer pays their league fee, 50% of those fees also go towards non-profits to help them even more.
Currently, there are 8 non-profits that My Way Gaming is connected with and try to help as often as possible, they range from helping a number of different things/people.
